Creative Director Portfolio

DONN SCOTT MILLER

As a Creative Director, EVP of Marketing & Communications, and Chief Marketing Officer, I have led the development of brand strategy, creative direction, and integrated marketing initiatives for organizations ranging from emerging brands to established businesses.

My work focuses on defining positioning, crafting messaging frameworks, and translating strategic objectives into creative systems that scale across digital, print, social, and experiential channels. I have built and led cross-functional teams, mentored growing creative talent, directed agency partnerships, and overseen the execution of AI-enabled campaigns designed to drive engagement, conversion, and long-term brand equity.

I bring a generalist, hybrid perspective that combines creative leadership with business acumen, ensuring that the work not only resonates visually and emotionally with diverse audiences but also delivers continual and measurable impact across global market environments.

Creative Direction - Agency Team:
Driving Marketing Partnership Activity

Challenge: RPS lacked a clearly defined brand position and a scalable creative leadership structure to support both internal growth and consistent delivery across a diverse client portfolio. The organization needed to unify strategy, messaging, and execution across industries while increasing efficiency without compromising creative quality. This required modernizing workflows through AI-enabled tools and upskilling the creative team to operate with greater agility, consistency, and impact.

Strategic Direction of Award-Winning
Agency Collateral, Client Briefings, Strategy, and Brand Identity Projects

Challenge: RPS Agency faced internal challenges that limited its ability to scale and compete at a national and global level. The creative team had begun to stagnate, with constrained opportunities for growth, inconsistent collaboration, and inefficient workflows that impacted both speed and quality of output. Without clear strategic and creative direction or a cohesive operational structure, execution across client engagements was often fragmented. The organization required experienced and engaged leadership, modern AI-enabled tools, and a unified approach to elevate team performance, improve efficiency, and deliver consistently high-quality work at scale.

Multi-Channel Marketing Campaigns: Building Market Credibility with Limited Budget

Challenge: Lincoln Private Jets required a fully upscaled brand and marketing ecosystem to support both UHNW client acquisition and investor engagement without a dedicated marketing team. LPJ needed a marketing leader to establish a system to direct, manage, and execute campaigns with a limited budget. The goal was to generate greater credibility in a highly competitive private aviation market while communicating a premium, high-trust, tailored experience to a discerning, private target audience.

Full Spectrum Marketing for Awareness, Shaping Perception, and Driving Revenue

Challenge: doeLEGAL, operating under the parent Questel organization, required a centralized marketing function capable of supporting sustained growth, strengthening brand positioning, and driving consistent demand generation in a competitive legal technology market.

At the time, marketing lacked a unified strategy, and execution was fragmented across channels and initiatives. The organization needed a single point of leadership to define direction, execute programs, and ensure alignment across sales, product, and executive stakeholders - all while maintaining efficiency and scalability within budget.
